Tip of the tower mounted on top of Hervanta water tower is 225m above sea level and 70m above ground level. 2320.842 MHz, 50W transmit power, single slot Alfords slot antenna > 6dBi omnidirectional gain, horisontal polarisation 5760.800 MHz, 8W transmit power, 32 slot slotted waveguide antenna > 13 dBi omnidirectional gain, horisontal polarisation 10368.800 MHz, 1W transmit power, 64 slot slotted waveguide antenna > 15 dBi omnidirectional gain, horisontal polarisation Beacon message for 5.7&10.3 GHz: OH3SHF KP11VK 5760800 kHz 10368800 kHz ..... Beacon message for 2.3 GHz: OH3SHF KP11VK 2320842 khz ..... Frequency accuracy < 100Hz (synthesizers are locked to a GPS locked home brew 10 MHz reference) 2,3 GHz signal is multiplied by two from a VCO running at about 1,15 GHz locked to reference 5,7 GHz signal is multiplied by four from a VCO running at about 1,4 GHz locked to reference 10 GHz signal is mulltiplied by six from a VCO running at about 1,7 GHz locked to reference CW keying is done at VCO frequency Beacon was installed and activated in KP11VK on 15th June 2002 by OH3LWP and OH3MCK 2.3 GHz band was installed and activated in KP11VK on 13th May 2003 by OH3LWP etc. 10 MHz GPS locked reference was added by OH3MCK in June 2003. Becon was QRT for a few weeks during summer 2003 due to lightning strike damage. 2.3 GHz band transmit power was increased to 50W on 17th December 2003.
